We use only sulphur free Grade 1 Copra that provide extra clear and 100% hygienic Coconut Oil. The raw material Grade 1 Copra procures as well as produced by the Company, of which the coconut source directly from the local farmers of Sulawesi, Sumatra, Maluku, Surabaya and other regions in Indonesia. Mr. Ashraf Puthussery
Mr. Ashraf Puthussery is the founder and Managing Director of Indo Malabar. He had visited many coconut oil manufacturing units. His visit to these units deeply affected him when he saw how the cooking oil was being manufactured in an unhygienic and harmful environment. He identified that many of the coconut oil available in the market are below average and hazardous to health. He was shocked to discover how carelessly one of the most vulnerable segments of the society had been treated when it comes to consuming directly by the human beings. This led to him questioning why it couldn’t be manufactured in a healthier traditional way with advanced Indian made machines. This quest for a better manufacturing environment led to the birth of Indo Malabar Coconut Oil through the entrepreneurial spirit. And now he has been in the Coconut Industry for the last 16 years.
